Premier Plus is a free service that provides you with additional support when preparing and applying for teacher training. You’ll get your own dedicated adviser, an experienced teaching professional who knows the teacher training process inside out, who is on hand to give you any extra help you need.
Your Premier Plus adviser will:
- give you practical advice and guidance at each stage of your application, from writing your personal statement to preparing for interviews and skills tests
- help you arrange your school experience via our School Experience Programme
- provide information about any financial support you may be entitled to
Whatever support you need, your adviser will be just a phone call, text or email away.
To be eligible for the service you should be looking to teach secondary biology, geography, maths, physics, chemistry, computing or languages. You will also need to hold (or be predicted) a 2:2 degree or above and want to start training in September 2016.
Please note: qualifying for Premier Plus based on your overseas equivalent degree class does not determine or guarantee what bursary rate you would be eligible for.
There’s also support available if you want to start teacher training in 2017. If you’re a second-year undergraduate or looking to change career, call us on Freephone 0800 389 2500 or register online to find out how we can help you.
