Postgraduate teacher training course fees

The maximum tuition fee for a postgraduate teacher training course for UK applicants starting a course in the 2026 to 2027 academic year is:

  • £9,790 per year for a full-time course
  • £7,335 per year for a part-time course

Maximum fees are set by the UK government.

Non-UK citizens: postgraduate fees

Tuition fees vary depending on the provider. On average, they cost around £15,000 for non-UK citizens.

The maximum fee is around:

  • £36,000 per year for a full-time course
  • £17,500 per year for a part-time course
