Advice clinic for potential teachers – Leicestershire SCITT

Our advice clinic offers one-to-one, friendly, personalised advice from experts to support primary initial teacher training (ITT) applicants.

Individual appointments will provide each attendee with:

  • opportunities to ask any questions they wish about different routes into primary postgraduate ITT
  • access to personalised, expert advice to set them up perfectly for the ITT application/interview process
  • a clear understanding of the next steps they need to take to apply to ITT and start their teacher training in as strong a position as possible
  • an opportunity to explore whether the SCITT partnership of schools may be able to offer placements or other support to deepen their understanding of teaching and learning in a primary school
