Teach First - Coffee appointment: Milton Keynes career changers/young professionals

28 November 2019 at 11:00 - 15:00 in Milton Keynes at the Costa Coffee

Event information:

We are now open for applications to train to teach with us in Summer 2020, this is the best time to apply as we have full location and subject availability. Applying early also enables more time to prepare for getting into teaching both pragmatically and for subject knowledge.

This informal meeting is aimed specifically at young professionals and career changers in the East of England. It will enable you to find out more about the charity, the structure and benefits of our route into teaching.

Our world class programme offers:

  • school-based and salaried programme, earn a salary from your first day in September and throughout your training, including school holidays
  • no fees to pay: fully-funded PGDE: unlike some other routes, you pay no fees for your training and receive a salary
  • three points of professional support: support from a subject expert, an in-school mentor and a Teach First mentor, plus the Teach First community

In the East of England we recruit in:
Milton Keynes, Bedford, Luton, Norwich, Ipswich, Peterborough, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Fenland and East Cambridgeshire.

Please note there are eligibility criteria you will need to meet in order to gain a place on our programme, we strongly advise you check the teaching requirements on our website before you sign up to attend this event.
