Ark St Alban's Academy - focus on teacher training open morning

22 November 2019 at 10:00 - 12:00 in Birmingham at the Ark St Alban's Academy

Event information:

Ark St Alban's Academy is an outstanding 11-18 school on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre.

The success of our school and our students relies on the dedication and commitment of our highly talented teachers. We therefore work hard with a range of local and national teacher training providers to recruit and train high-quality new entrants to the profession who go on to work in our own and other local schools.

This exciting new event offers information, advice and practical support and brings together our teacher training partners, including:

  • Ark Teacher Training
  • Waverley School Direct
  • Woodrush School Direct

If you are a graduate or are undertaking an undergraduate degree, book a place on our open morning to meet teacher trainer colleagues from the organisations above.

You will explore a range of topics, such as different initial teacher training routes, entry requirements and student finance, as well as have the opportunity to see what goes on in secondary classrooms, you can also access practical support for writing an effective UCAS personal statement and preparing for teacher training interviews.

We very much look forward to meeting you.
