Teach First - 121 meeting Bournemouth: career changers and young professionals

11 July 2019 at 12:00 - 17:00 in Bournemouth at the THIS Workspace

Event information:

We are now open for applications to train to teach with us in summer 2020. This is the best time to apply as we have full location and subject availability. As this is an early recruitment window, if unsuccessful, you will uniquely be able to apply again from September 2019 for summer 2020. Applying early also enables more time to prepare for getting into teaching both pragmatically and for subject knowledge.

About the phone meeting
This 1-2-1 meeting (approximately 15-20mins) is aimed specifically at young professionals and career changers in the South East South Coast of England. It will enable you to find out more about the charity, the structure and benefits of our route into teaching, in an informal manner.

Our world class programme offers

  • school-based and salaried programme: earn a salary from your first day in September and throughout your training, including school holidays
  • no fees to pay: fully-funded PGDE: unlike some other routes, you pay no fees for your training and receive a salary
  • three points of professional support: Support from a subject expert, an in-school mentor and a Teach First mentor, plus the Teach First community
  • training twice-rated outstanding by Ofsted: 99% of our trainees get a grade 1 or 2 QTS ranking
