If you're considering getting into teaching, then our PGCE open evening is great place to start.

Designed to give you as much information as possible about training to teach with University College Birmingham, there's also the opportunity to take a look at our superb facilities.

This is a great opportunity to get an insight into our unique atmosphere and you will get to meet our staff and students.

What the evening involves

  • we will provide you with information about the benefits of studying a PGCE with us, course details, fees, scholarships, accommodation and the application process. (student finance is available to those studying a PGCE)
  • the opportunity to speak directly to academic staff and learn about the wider benefits of postgraduate studies, including career opportunities
  • finding out about the support we offer during the admissions process and after you have joined UCB
  • a tour of our fantastic teaching facilities at McIntyre House, which is dedicated to postgraduate and undergraduate degree studies
