Teach First information drop ins - Bristol

24 January 2019 at 16:00 to 24 January 2019 at 18:00 in Bristol at the Society Cafe

Event info:

Among developed countries, the UK has one of the worst rates of educational inequality. We believe your background should not dictate your destiny, and that everybody should have an equal chance to succeed. Our Leadership Development Programme places talented and committed people into classrooms where they are needed the most to help end this injustice.

Meet with a member of the Teach First team 121 to learn more about our programme, get your questions answered, and find out if it's the right route for you to take.

The Leadership Development Programme offers:

  • a fully-funded and salaried route into teaching, including an internationally recognised Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Leadership (PGDE), worth double the credits of a PGCE
  • classroom-based training, allowing you to take real responsibility from the outset
  • guaranteed NQT year after gaining QTS at the end of your first year
  • unparalleled career support during and after the programme, which enables our participants to progress quickly in school leadership, education policy, social enterprise and other fields

Please be advised that we are currently only recruiting for the following subjects in the South West: Science, Maths, Modern Foreign Languages and English (all at secondary level). We are still open for a wider range of subjects including primary in other regions of the country.
