The programme includes:

  • refreshments available from 5.45pm and talks start at 6pm
  • a Headteacher from a local school - choose to teach and make a difference!
  • a Sussex trained Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) shares their experiences - I chose to teach!
  • options explained by a University Tutor - which training route is best for me?
  • individual advice from University Tutors and School Direct partners - what next?

The event is suitable for you if you live anywhere in the South East - including South London. Our partner schools and colleges stretch from Portsmouth, Chichester and Petersfield in Hampshire to the west, Croydon, Bromley and Surrey to the north, and Sevenoaks, Maidstone and Hastings to the east, in addition to East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton and Hove.

The Sussex campus has excellent train, bus and road links. Information on transport, as well as a map for orientation around the campus, can be found on our website.
