Whether you are a fresh graduate or a career changer, apply for an open day at one of Ark’s secondary schools in Birmingham.
Spend half a day in an Ark school and experience:
- A welcome and tour of the school
- Lesson observations to see examples of great teaching in the subject of your choice (see below for available subjects)
- A training session with one of the professional tutors from the Ark Teacher Training team – experience our training first hand and improve your skills
- Subjects available on this date: biology, chemistry, English, geography, history, mathematics, PE, physics

Our two-year School Direct programme, which runs across schools in high-need areas in Birmingham and around the UK, gives you a PGCE, QTS and rich classroom experience rooted in tailored trainee support.
