Halterworth Primary School train to teach on the Isle of Wight

This is an opportunity to hear about our School Direct route into teaching based 4 days a week in Isle of Wight Schools and 1 day a week either at Winchester University or in a mainland school.
Halterworth Consortium, is a well-established provider of Initial Teacher Training via the School Direct route. We offer training places and work in partnership with Winchester University. Our programme leads to PGCE and QTS qualifications. If you are enthusiastic about becoming a teacher and possibly interested in the very successful School Direct route from an established provider, please come along to find out more details about our training programme and the exciting opportunities we offer.
Our Isle of Wight provision includes:
- a termly travel allowance to cover travel to the mainland (1 day per week)
- training 1 day per week in lead mainland schools or Winchester University
- an ipad mini to access online training materials and opportunity to attend Wellington College Festival of Education
- support from a well established National Support School
