Teaching is a rewarding and challenging profession. It gives you the chance to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people, their schools and communities. Our aim is to prepare you to meet that challenge and build a fulfilling career.

At the drop-in sessions, Department of Education staff will be on hand to tell you about the PGCE course content and structure, financial support, our excellent network of partners in schools and colleges, the vast amount of practical experience you gain while on the course and the support available from tutors, technicians and peers.
