The University of Manchester – international primary PGCE session

17 March 2016 at 16:00 to 17 March 2016 at 18:00 in Manchester at the The University of Manchester, 4.213 University Place

Event info:

Are you an international student thinking about a career in primary school teaching? We have space for a number of overseas students on our primary PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) for September 2016 entry.

Our primary PGCE is a 10-month course that enables graduates to teach children aged 5 to 11 and gain qualified teacher status. Come along to our international students’ session to find out everything you need to know about training to teach with The University of Manchester and teaching as a career in the UK.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • find out more about our teacher training provision through an informal presentation and question and answer session
  • speak to our course tutors
  • receive advice and guidance from our admissions staff on entry requirements, subject knowledge enhancement courses and how to apply

Our PGCE primary course is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and is incredibly popular. As we have filled all spaces available for UK students for September 2016 entry, this is a unique opportunity to enable overseas students to train to teach with us.

Please visit our website for more details on training to be a teacher, including course structure and entry requirements. If you would like to attend this event, please register.
