UWE Bristol - PGCE Drop In Session
11 November 2015 at 16:00 to 11 November 2015 at 18:00 in Bristol at the UWE Bristol - Street Cafe (S Block)
Teaching is a rewarding and challenging profession. It gives you the chance to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people. Our aim is to prepare you to meet that challenge and build a fulfilling career.
At the drop-in sessions, PGCE tutors will be on hand to tell you about the course content and structure, financial support, our excellent network of partners, the vast amount of practical experience you gain while on the course, and the support available from tutors, mentors, technicians and peers.
"The tutors were very knowledgeable, the course content was very relevant and the placements were vital for my professional development." Dofo Jama, PGCE Primary 2015
“Teacher training at UWE Bristol provides a wealth of resources and practical advice, which trainees use imaginatively to engage the interest of their pupils.” Ofsted Report 2014
"A UWE Bristol student (is) very clear and focused about what they are doing in the classroom and how it can be developed. There’s very clearly an understanding of the impact they could have, not just in the formal setting of that classroom but across the school." Susie Weaver, Principal, Wallscourt Farm Academy
