Get extra support with Premier Plus

Faye Longville, chemistry trainee

Premier Plus is our exclusive, free service that supports eligible candidates throughout the application process.

With Premier Plus, you’ll get your own adviser, an experienced teaching professional who’ll act as a regular point of contact and be ready to answer all your questions.

Chemistry trainee Faye was just one of the many people who have benefited from Premier Plus. Having graduated with a first-class honours degree and wanting to teach a Premier Plus subject, Faye was eligible to access the service when she registered with Get Into Teaching. To be eligible, you’ll need (or be predicted) a 2:2 or above and want to teach secondary biology, chemistry, computing, geography languages, maths or physics.

“I registered online and was contacted by my adviser Nigel – he had a lot of experience in teaching chemistry and had been doing it for about 25 years.”

Your Premier Plus adviser is assigned specifically to you. This means you can get personalised advice from someone who understands your unique circumstances – something Faye found especially helpful.

“My adviser supported me through the process, helping with my personal statement and application. He helped me set up school experience as well, so it’s really useful. I could communicate with him via email and he’d also call to go over how I was getting on with my application,” Faye explains.

From tips on passing the skills tests through to successfully applying for training, our advisers are always on hand to help you get into teaching.

If you’re eligible for Premier Plus, you’ll be informed when you register with us. The Get Into Teaching Line will then contact you and allocate you an adviser to support you through the application process. If you’d like to find out more about our service, or have any questions, please call us on Freephone 0800 289 2500.
