Event information

Find out about our school-led, Early Years, primary and secondary teacher training programmes (rated good by Ofsted 2017), which are led by a team of experts based at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls (Ofsted outstanding) and and Lime Tree Academy (Ofsted Outstanding). Our primary and secondary training courses lead to both QTS and PGCE status (partnered with the University of Manchester) and excellent bursaries are available for shortage subjects. Our Graduate Employment-based Early Years training fees are paid for in full by the government, with bursaries of £7000 available for your EY setting. At this event, you will find out about:
  • the training package we offer
  • bursaries and finance
  • how to make your application stand out from the crowd
  • the qualifications you will need
  • future prospects and career progression within teaching.
We currently have training places available in Early Years, primary, and secondary maths, sciences, geography, history, RS and citizenship, English, design technology and computer science for September 2024. We are proud that we have a 100% pass rate and average 96% employment rate.
