Changing career – drop-in sessions
14 June 2016 at 16:00 to 14 June 2016 at 18:45 in Liverpool at the Costa Coffee
For anyone considering joining the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) from another career, we are holding coffee drop-in sessions with a member of our Experienced Hires recruitment team so you can get all your questions answered.
The LDP is a salaried two-year programme encompassing high-quality training, supportive coaching, and a fully funded PGCE qualification. You'll retrain as a teacher in one of our partner schools and, whether or not you decide to remain in the classroom, the experience and skills you'll gain will change your life, and the lives of your pupils.
Almost a quarter of our 2015 cohort are people who came from other careers. We believe their wider experience of life and work makes a vital contribution to our drive to end educational inequality, create greater inclusion in education, and raise standards in the classroom.
To be eligible for the programme we ask for a 2:1 degree and 300 UCAS points, as well as eligibility to teach one of the curriculum areas we recruit for: Secondary – English, maths, science, modern foreign languages (French or Spanish), history, geography, business studies, design & technology, computer science & ICT, music, religious education, Welsh; early years and primary.
Book a time slot with your Experienced Hire recruiter, via our booking page and find out how we can support you in your application and transition into the classroom.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
