Bitterne Park School - School Direct information evening (virtual)

29 September 2020 at 17:45 - 19:00 in Online at the Online

Event information:

Bitterne Park Teaching School Alliance is a growing partnership comprising a diverse range of secondary schools across Hampshire and Wiltshire which present dynamic and exciting training possibilities for those wishing to pursue a career in teaching. Our School Direct route is delivered in partnership with the Universities of Southampton and Chichester and combines the best elements of a traditional university-led PGCE training model with the benefits of a school-centred approach. Our partner universities have a long-established record of excellent initial teacher training, and successful completion of our course leads to a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The programme also contributes towards a Master's level qualification.

Our School Direct information evening is open to anyone who has an honours degree (2:2 or above) or who is in the final year of their degree with a predicted grade of 2:2 or above. You will get the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the various routes into teaching and find out more about how to apply to the Bitterne Park Teaching School Alliance.

This will be an online event using Microsoft Teams.

To book your place, please email us  or call Vicki Holland on 02380 294133.
