Pan London ITT Group - London teacher training recruitment fair at City Hall

23 April 2020 at 17:00 - 20:00 in London at the City Hall

Event information:

Many teacher training providers across London will have stalls and you can talk directly to them about their courses and vacancies for primary and secondary teacher training.

There will also be a presentation and Q&A session (in the Assembly Chamber) about getting into teaching at 7.00pm. This will explain about different types of course and funding available to support you while you train. It will explain the basic entry requirements and how you can find and read about courses near where you live. You will be given advice about how to get experience in a school and how to secure a place on a teacher training course.

Please be aware you will have to pass through airport style security to get into City Hall.

The Mayor of London's Teach London campaign supports teacher recruitment and retention in the capital. Its webpages advertise training opportunities and support from the Mayor for London teachers. The Greater London Authority (GLA) has kindly agreed to host this London Teacher Training Recruitment Fair at City Hall on Thursday 23 April.

This is a collaborative event, with schools across the capital working together to showcase the opportunities available to you to join this incredible profession.

Come and meet some of our schools and learn all you need to know about finding the right course for you and securing a place to train as a teacher in this great capital.
