Centre for Research in Early Childhood (CREC) Early Years Partnership - Primary SCITT taster event open afternoon

12 March 2020 at 13:30 - 15:30 in Birmingham at the Centre for Research in Early Childhood (CREC)

Event information:

Join us at our next open afternoon on Thursday 12th March for an opportunity to meet and chat to:

  • some of our highly experienced teacher educators
  • our mentors who are first class practitioners with a clear understanding of how to track trainee progress and offer continual support and guidance
  • current trainee teachers, NQTs and more experienced alumni of CEYP who can give you a clear idea of what it's like to study with CEYP and work as an early years / primary teacher

You will also be shown around the St Thomas Children's Centre, an internationally renowned centre of outstanding early years integrated practice. The tour will consist of viewing the SCITT training centre and our library, as well as a visit to the St Thomas Centre Nursery School, one of our placement schools and our QTS accredited provider and lead school.

If you are considering a career in teaching, particularly if you'd like to work with young children, book a place. It will be lovely to welcome you to CREC.

Full details of our SCITT course can be found here. including information about finance, course entry requirements, and the application process for 2020/21.
