Green Light Teaching School Alliance - train to teach primary drop in event

8 May 2019 at 14:00 - 20:00 in Cleckheaton at the Howard Park Community School

Event information:

Green Light Teaching School Alliance (GLA) is a growing partnership of schools and institutions within West Yorkshire.

Shelley College and Heaton Avenue Primary School were both designated as Teaching Schools in early 2014.

Our passion is to ensure the children and young people in our schools achieve their personal best.
Our schools encompass the full age range from 3 to 18 and operate in a wide range of settings, both rural and urban, with a diverse pupil intake.

The GLA works closely with their teacher trainees to build a bespoke programme to support their interests, needs and aims, with a focus upon getting that 'first teaching post'.

Pop along to our friendly, supportive and informative sessions and learn more about getting into primary school teaching;

  • talk to our course tutors
  • chat about different routes into teaching
  • learn more about the application process
  • information about fees, different schools and placements
  • understand more about qualifications and experience
  • one to one tailored support for teachers within the GLA

Our primary drop in sessions are at Howard Park Community School 2-4pm & 5:30-8pm. Just pop along or email for further details.

We really look forward to meeting you!
