We are a forward thinking provider with an excellent record in training outstanding teachers and enabling them to secure great employment. Of the trainees who qualified with us in the summer of 2018, all of them have been employed in schools within our Trust. We are very proud of this!

Join us at the information evening to find out about The Priory Learning Trust Schools Direct teacher training. Schools Direct courses are based on the skills employers are looking for in a teacher. The course will last for an academic year and will result in you gaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Across our Trust schools you will have access to over 200 teachers and 5000 students to help you learn and gain experience as you train,as well as established and experienced support from Plymouth Marjons University. You will spend at least 4 days a week training on the job with the fifth day studying the theory behind the practical work you will undertake in the classroom.

To train as a teacher with us, a first or second class UK university degree, or equivalent overseas degree is required.
