King Edward's Consortium Birmingham - open evening
27 March 2019 at 18:00 to 27 March 2019 at 19:30 in Birmingham at the King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls
The King Edward's Consortium is an outstanding school-centred initial teacher training provider (SCITT) in Birmingham. Established in 2004, we are a partnership of 20 excellent, and very varied, secondary schools. The mixture of comprehensive, selective, mixed, single-sex, 11-16 and 11-18 schools in the partnership is a key strength.
The Consortium is rated the no.1 school-centred initial teacher training provider (SCITT) in the country in The Good Teacher Training Guide, 2017. We also have a 100% employment rate.
We offer secondary fee-paying routes in the following subjects: Art and Design, Biology, Chemistry, Classics (Latin and Ancient Greek), Computer Science, Drama, English, Geography, History, Languages (French, Spanish), Mathematics, Music, Physics and Religious Education.
We also offer a School Direct (salaried) English route.
We always enjoy meeting prospective applicants and we know how important it is for you to have the opportunity to ask questions face-to-face. This event gives prospective applicants the opportunity to meet KEC staff and former trainees and to find out more about our programmes.
At the beginning of the evening there will be a formal presentation from the Director of ITT and former trainees. Afterwards KEC staff and former trainees will be available to answer individual queries.
To attend this event, please register on our website.
