Birmingham City University - open day
23 March 2019 at 09:00 to 23 March 2019 at 15:00 in Birmingham at the Birmingham City University
Find out how we can empower you to inspire the next generation at our Open Day. This event is open to anyone interested in undergraduate teacher training either at Primary level or one of our new undergraduate Secondary teaching courses in Computing, Biology and Physical Education.
If you're looking for a postgraduate teaching qualification you can learn about the range of PGCE courses we offer to train to teach at a variety of levels – Primary, Secondary and Post-Compulsory Education and Training.
We also have sessions dedicated to the Skills Tests in Literacy and Numeracy that you'll need to complete before you begin a teacher training course.
Not only that, you can:
- meet our friendly, expert staff who will be on hand with information, advice and support
- take a tour of some of our new facilities, including primary and secondary science labs, dedicated Design and Technology workshops and a suite of music rooms
- talk to other students from our School of Education and Social Work to get their insight into life at Birmingham City University
