Teach First time to teach information evening

29 January 2019 at 18:30 to 29 January 2019 at 19:30 in Sheffield at the The Circle

Event info:

Welcome to the new way for career changers to get into teaching.

Time to Teach is a unique programme specifically designed for career changers looking to make a smooth transition into teaching. You'll receive a salary from your first day with no period of unpaid training, a placement within a school that's a commutable distance from your home, as well as dedicated training and support from your school and our experienced team at Teach First. The programme allows you to build your experience methodically before taking your own classes.

Sign up to our final introductory evening of the year in Sheffield where you'll be able to:

  • hear from a career changer who made the transition onto one of our programmes
  • learn about how the Time to Teach programme is structured, and its key benefits
  • get your questions answered by members of our support team
  • receive useful hints and tips regarding the application process

If you haven't yet read about our Time to Teach Programme, find out more here.

Please note the programme is currently only available in Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire for those wishing to teach English, maths or science at a secondary level.
