Outwood Institute of Education information event
17 July 2018 at 17:00 to 17 July 2018 at 19:00 in Middlesbrough at the Outwood Institute of Education
This event will allow you meet our School Direct team, to discuss our training programme and to explore the application and interview process. You will also have the opportunity to arrange a career experience placement in one of our academies.
The Outwood Institute of Education offers a School Direct programme that strives to develop, support and celebrate excellent trainee teachers who are well-prepared for the profession. Our trainees work alongside innovative, ambitious and student-focused teachers who are passionate about raising standards and transforming lives.
We are part of a large alliance of over 80 schools; these partnerships enable us to provide training that is high quality, purposeful and based on first-hand experiences.
We are excited to launch our new partnership with Durham University for our 2017/18 cohort of trainees. Durham University prides itself on being a world top 100 university and their Education Department is ranked number one in the UK by the 2018 Complete University Guide.
Our courses lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE (worth 90 Master's credits) awarded by Durham University.
