University of Gloucestershire’s men working in education conference

27 March 2018 at 14:00 to 27 March 2018 at 18:00 in Cheltenham at the University of Gloucestershire

Event info:

The government has recognised that males are a particularly under-represented group in primary teaching and the wider education sector.

Be inspired by the rewards of early years and primary school teaching, forest schools and more. Find out whether a primary pathway could be for you with the University of Gloucestershire’s men working in education conference. The afternoon will be dedicated to giving you generic, unbiased first-hand information and advice on education-based courses and careers, through delivery of interactive workshops, meeting current teacher training students and male teachers in the profession.

This half-day event will offer:

  • personal statement writing guidance
  • top tips for interviews
  • an explanation of teacher training and educator routes
  • insight into the education sector
  • opportunities to meet current teachers
  • a tour of our campus

This event is FREE to attend and refreshments will be provided.
