Teach in Herts teacher recruitment fair

10 March 2018 at 10:00 to 10 March 2018 at 14:00 in Stevenage at the Hertfordshire Development Centre

Event info:

Teach in Herts is managed by Herts for Learning, the UK's largest not for profit school company that works on behalf of 520 shareholding schools across Hertfordshire.

Now into its fourth year, this hugely enjoyable event is FREE to attend. There will be a series of workshops running designed to inform, inspire and to support delegates looking to enter the profession or further their career. This is also a fantastic event for teachers looking to return to the profession.

Workshops will cover:

  • train to be a teacher: the routes available
  • NQT induction in Hertfordshire
  • the School Direct journey for primary & secondary teachers
  • Hertfordshire: why it’s the best place in the world to teach
  • graduate teacher apprenticeship
  • what's new in assessment?
  • teaching in the UK for overseas qualified teachers

In addition to the workshops (availability/space cannot be guaranteed in advance), there will be representatives from Hertfordshire schools, Teaching School Alliances looking to fill teacher training places as school direct providers offering advice on routes into teaching and provide advice and guidance to your questions.

If you are unable to attend this event there is an earlier event running on Saturday 3rd February from 10am - 2pm at Parmiter's School, High Elms Lane, Watford, WD25 0UU.

Please check out our website or contact a member of the team on 01438 845785 for further details on both events and to register.
