Arden Alliance coffee morning
2 March 2018 at 09:00 to 2 March 2018 at 10:30 in Solihull at the Arden Academy
Arden Alliance, based in Solihull, West Midlands, is partnership of 10 primary and secondary schools and the University of Warwick, which is a Russell Group University and rated by Ofsted an "Outstanding" provider of teacher training. Through our highly effective Schools Direct programme, we aim to produce top class teaching professionals.
We would like to invite undergraduates, post-graduates and career-changers the opportunity to pop into our school to discuss what training to teach through the school direct route looks like. We understand there are so many questions a prospective trainee teacher may have such as choosing which route to take; funding; timetabling; coursework, assessments, etc. etc. We strongly recommend a candidate takes advantage of as many opportunities possible to visit and spend time in a school.
This Coffee Morning is in addition to our school experience week which is being held in April (details of which are on our website). What sets the Arden Alliance apart is our commitment to rigorous and supportive training that develops candidates as individuals to be well-rounded members of the teaching profession. Our delivery of subject-specific pedagogy, by outstanding teachers in their field, is unique and research shows that this is the most effective form of professional development.
