National Mathematics & Physics SCITT (NMAPS) taster day
27 February 2018 at 11:15 to 27 February 2018 at 13:45 in High Wycombe at the Wycombe High School
The National Mathematics and Physics SCITT (NMAPS) was designated by the Department for Education in September 2017 and is led by Wycombe High School Academies Trust, based in High Wycombe.
NMAPS offers high quality subject specialist teacher training, led by mathematics and physics experts in a unique collaboration between the state and independent sectors, and in partnership with subject associations such as The Mathematical Association.
The SCITT operates through three hubs: a central hub based at Wycombe High School and Headington School; a northern hub based at Bolton School and a London hub based at Dulwich College.
Our taster sessions will begin with a general introduction to the NMAPS teacher training programme, before giving you the opportunity to observe two contrasting maths/physics lessons at Wycombe High School.
