The day will include:

  • meeting the headteacher
  • a short presentation about what teaching looks like today
  • observing two lessons to experience different teaching styles
  • working as part of a group to plan and deliver an episode of a lesson, having a go at teaching your lesson to a class of students
  • hearing about different pathways into teaching from a University representative, including a Q&A session
