King Edward's Consortium / King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls open evening

22 March 2017 at 18:00 - 19:30 in Birmingham at the King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls

Event info:

The King Edward’s Consortium is an outstanding school-centred initial teacher training provider in Birmingham. Established in 2004, we are a partnership of 22 excellent, and very varied, secondary schools. The mixture of comprehensive, selective, mixed, single-sex, 11-16 and 11-18 schools in the partnership is a key strength.

The Consortium is rated number 1 for School Direct (fee) and School Direct (salaried) routes in The Good Teacher Training Guide, 2015. We also have a 100% employment rate.

We offer fee-paying routes in the following subjects: art and design, biology, chemistry, pjhysics, classics (Latin and Ancient Greek), computer science, dance, design and technology, drama, economics, English, geography, history, languages (French, German, Spanish), mathematics, music and religious education.

We offer salaried routes in the following subjects: chemistry, physics, design and technology, English and mathematics.

We always enjoy meeting prospective applicants and we know how important it is for you to have the opportunity to ask questions face-to-face. This event gives prospective applicants the opportunity to meet KEC staff and former trainees and to find out more about our programmes.

At the beginning of the evening there will be a formal presentation from the Director of initial teacher training and former trainees. Afterwards KEC staff and former trainees will be available to answer individual queries.

To attend this event, please register on our website.
