University of Greenwich teacher taster day

At the end of the day, students will have:

  • Learnt about different routes into teaching and our education related degrees
  • Attended our hands-on interactive workshops
  • Experienced what it is like to be a university student for the day
  • Toured the campus
  • Met current university students and lecturers

What will the students do?

During the morning, there are short talks including a guide to different routes into teaching and education degrees and potential career routes. Visitors also have the opportunity to hear from University of Greenwich students about what life at
university is really like.

The afternoon activities are hands-on interactive workshops. Visitors will also be able to take part in short taster sessions demonstrating a range of innovative ways of teaching mathematics, storytelling and story making in the classroom.
