Yarrow Teaching School Alliance – School Direct open session
2 March 2016 at 18:00 to 2 March 2016 at 19:30 in Chorley at the St George’s CE Primary School
Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children? Do you believe the best place to train to teach is in a school? If the answer to these questions is a resounding ‘yes’, then training to become a primary teacher with the Yarrow Teaching School Alliance, led by St George’s CE Primary School, is definitely the route into teaching for you.
You’ll be based for much of the academic year in school, working alongside outstanding practitioners, gaining real, relevant and practical experience.
Theory based learning, one day a week, will underpin your experience in school and, on successful completion of training, you will be awarded QTS (qualified teacher status) – your passport into the classroom as a salaried, competent and confident professional.
Find out more about this exciting school-based training route into teaching by attending one of our series of open events to be hosted at St George’s CE Primary School, Carr Lane, Chorley.
If you are interested in attending this event, please send us an email. We look forward to seeing you.
