Interested in doing a PGCE? Still undecided on a route into teaching? Then come and find out more about our primary and secondary education (campus-based and School Direct) courses at our open day event.

Our School of Education open day is a great chance for you to:

  • see our facilities
  • meet our lecturers
  • learn more about the routes into teaching
  • chat to our current trainees
  • discover our lead schools

The event runs from 9am to 12pm and will be held on our de Havilland campus. The programme for the day is as follows:

  • 9:00 – registration
  • 9:30 – School Direct routes into teacher training
  • PGCE campus-based teacher training courses
  • 10.00 – meet lead schools
  • 10.45 – School Direct routes into teacher training
  • PGCE campus-based teacher training courses
  • 11.15 – meet lead schools
  • 12.00 – close
