The University of Leeds routes into teaching expo showcases the various options that you have for stepping up to a career in teaching.
Come to the marketplace in Parkinson Court and talk to representatives from schools, teaching alliances, university education staff and more. There will also be talks, panel discussions and further information available over the course of the day, including sessions on:
- how to apply to teacher training – get tips on the application and interview process, personal statements and finance
- choosing the right course – should you apply for a PGCE? School Direct? SCITT? Find out more about each route to decide which is the best for you
- which age group? Primary or secondary? Post-16? Early years? Find out what the rewards and challenges are of working with each age group
- where can teaching take you? Find out how a teaching qualification can lead to further career opportunities in education and beyond
