Teach First – information day
17 February 2016 at 08:00 to 17 February 2016 at 18:00 in Edinburgh at the Starbucks
For anyone considering joining the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) from another career, Teach First are holding coffee drop-in sessions in Edinburgh with a member of its experienced hires recruitment team so you can get all your questions answered.
The LDP is a salaried two-year programme encompassing high-quality training, supportive coaching, and a fully funded PGCE qualification. You’ll retrain as a teacher in one of our partner schools and, whether or not you decide to remain in the classroom, the experience and skills you’ll gain will change your life, and your pupils’ lives.
Almost a quarter of Teach First’s 2014 cohort are people who came from other careers. Their wider experience of life and work makes a vital contribution to Teach First’s drive to end educational inequality, create greater inclusion in education, and raise standards in the classroom.
To be eligible to apply to the LDP, you will need to meet Teach First’s minimum requirements for which Scottish qualifications are considered – further information can be found on our website.
Applications for 2016 are open, so book a timeslot with your experienced hire recruiter and find out how we can support you in your application and transition into the classroom. Various times are available, scheduled to fit around working hours. Tea and coffee will be provided.
