At the Shireland Teaching School Alliance open morning, you will get a chance to visit Shireland Collegiate Academy and meet teachers, mentors, and other School Direct trainees. You’ll also meet some of our successful past School Direct trainees, both secondary and primary.

You will have the opportunity to take part in department taster sessions, receive advice on the application and interview process, and speak to our Teaching School directors.

Shireland Teaching School Alliance works in partnership with the world-leading University of Warwick, and for the past two years has had a 100% pass and employment rate for both primary and secondary trainees. Come and see us!

Target audience:

Graduates with a 2:2 or above, and people with three or more years of work experience, who would like to find out more about primary or secondary School Direct teacher training.
