The event is for prospective initial teacher training applicants in Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties to find out what local School Direct schools and providers have to offer as well as the benefits and opportunities of living and working in the county.

 

The event will include:

  • the chance to talk to schools and providers about their initial teacher training programmes in secondary, primary, Special Education and Early Years settings
  • presentations on the Routes into Teaching and What Makes a Good Application
  • information and advice about the professional skills tests, fees and funding, UCAS, and local housing opportunities
