Runshaw College – teacher training open event
14 March 2016 at 16:00 to 14 March 2016 at 19:00 in Chorley at the Runshaw Adult College
Thinking of becoming a teacher? Come along to our teacher training open event to meet our tutors, talk about routes into teaching and take a tour of the facilities.
Our Certificate in Education and postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) qualifications offer a flexible route to becoming a teacher. They may be studied on a full-time basis, or built up on a part-time ‘modular’ basis to a full qualification.
Primarily aimed at those wishing to teach in the post-16 education sector, our qualifications also provide the skills required to teach in the secondary education sector.
Courses available are:
- Preparatory Award in Education and Training at Level 4 (part-time)
- Introductory Certificate in Education and Training (part-time)
- Intermediate Certificate in Teaching, Learning and Assessment (part-time)
- Certificate in Education (part- and full-time)
- postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) (part and full-time)
We also offer the City & Guilds Preparatory Award in Education and Training at Level 3 for trainers.
Teaching placements may also be available at Runshaw College.
If you wish to attend this event, please send us an email.
