Thinking of teaching chemistry? We believe that teaching chemistry is an incredibly rewarding and exciting career. But if you’re not convinced yet, why not come along to our Inspire to Teach stand and coffee meeting to find out more?

We’re here for you to find out more about:

  • what it’s really like to teach chemistry
  • how to apply for teacher training
  • what teacher training courses involve
  • scholarships and bursaries for trainee teachers
  • the support that we offer teachers

Our stand will run from 10am to 2pm at the Southampton Chemistry Department bridge area between rooms 29 and 30.

The coffee meeting will run between 2pm and 5pm at the Costa Coffee (114 Burgess Road, Southampton, SO17 1TW).
