Red Kite school experience day

10 February 2016 at 09:15 to 10 February 2016 at 13:45 in Harrogate at the Harrogate Grammar School

Event info:

Red Kite Teacher Training offers bespoke primary and secondary initial teacher training courses across the full range of subjects and ages working in partnership with the University of Leeds.

Harrogate Grammar School is a very large, high-performing school and was designated as one of the first hundred teaching schools in the country – and more recently, the lead school for the Yorkshire Ridings Maths Hub. The school promotes technology for learning through a one-to-one iPad scheme.

This event offers an exciting opportunity to gain secondary school experience. During the event you will:

  • meet with senior staff who will explain our approaches to teaching and learning
  • spend time observing lessons in your own and other subjects
  • meet trainees who are currently training with Red Kite
  • reflect on your experiences

If you are interested in attending this event, please send us an email. We look forward to seeing you.
