‘Males into primary’ teaching conference, University of Gloucestershire

The government has recognised that males are a particularly under-represented group in primary teaching.

Be inspired by the rewards of primary school teaching and find out whether a primary pathway could be for you with the University of Gloucestershire’s ‘males into primary’ teaching conference. The afternoon will be dedicated to giving you generic, unbiased first-hand information and advice on primary teaching through delivery of interactive workshops as well as meeting current teacher training students and male teachers in the profession.

This half-day event will offer:

  • guidance for writing your personal statement writing
  • top tips for interviews
  • an explanation of teacher training routes
  • insight into teacher training
  • opportunities to meet current teachers
  • a tour of our campus

This event is free to attend and refreshments will be provided.
