George Spencer Academy ‘Thinking of Teaching’ week

20 April 2016 at 08:30 to 22 April 2016 at 15:30 in Nottingham at the George Spencer Academy

Event info:

This ‘Thinking of Teaching’ week is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has applied or is thinking of applying to train to teach.

George Spencer Academy is an outstanding secondary school on the outskirts of Nottingham and close to both the Leicestershire and Derbyshire borders. George Spencer Academy is the lead school in our teaching school alliance, the lead school in one of the 32 national maths hubs and has led its SCITT successfully for the last 15 years.

The week will involve a presentation on different routes into teaching, information about the George Spencer Academy SCITT, and an application question and answer session. There will be opportunities during the week to talk informally to staff and School Direct trainees, as well as to ask any questions you may have.

Cost: £30.00 payable in advance of the week.
