This open evening is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has applied, or is thinking of applying, to train to teach.

George Spencer Academy, is an outstanding secondary school on the outskirts of Nottingham and close to both the Leicestershire and Derbyshire borders. George Spencer academy is the lead school in our Teaching School Alliance, the lead school in one of the 32 national maths hubs and has led its SCITT successfully for the last 15 years.

The evening will involve a presentation on different routes into teaching, information about the George Spencer Academy SCITT, and an application question and answer session. There will be opportunities during the evening to talk informally to staff and School Direct trainees, and to ask any questions you may have.
