Changing career coffee drop-in sessions with Teach First
21 April 2016 at 17:00 to 21 April 2016 at 19:00 in Birmingham at the Costa Coffee
For anyone considering joining the Teach First Leadership Development Programme (LDP) from another career, we are holding drop-in sessions with a member of our experienced hires recruitment team to give you the chance to get all of your questions answered.
The LDP is a salaried two-year programme encompassing high-quality training, supportive coaching, and a PGCE qualification. You’ll retrain as a teacher in one of our partner schools, and whether or not you decide to remain in the classroom, the experience and skills you’ll gain will change your life, and the lives of your pupils.
Almost a quarter of our 2015 cohort are people who came from other careers. We believe their wider experience of life and work makes a vital contribution to our drive to end educational inequality, create greater inclusion in education, and raise standards in the classroom.
To be eligible for the programme we ask for a 2:1 degree and 300 UCAS points.
Applications for 2016 are open, so book a time slot and find out how we can support you in your application and transition into the classroom. Tea and coffee will be provided.
If you have any questions about this event please contact Sam.
