Buile Hill SCITT open day
30 March 2016 at 13:30 to 30 March 2016 at 18:30 in Salford at the Buile Hill Visual Arts College
Open day providing an insight into working in a school as well as information on the SCITT programme.
School tour – 1:30pm to 2:30pm
Student voice session – 2:30pm to 3:30pm
Places for the above two sessions are limited and must be booked in advance by emailing Debra Gregory. These sessions provide supporting information on how a school operates and provide a chance for potential trainees to experience working with young people.
Advice and Guidance available from 2:30pm
Presentations to provide key information on the SCITT programme and teacher training options will run every half hour from 3pm.
This event aims to support direct recruitment to Buile Hill SCITT for potential trainees wanting to apply for a place which starts in September 2016. Salaried places for geography and English are on offer alongside training places for maths, geography, computer science, physics, history, design and technology, MFL, and we are looking to add art and design.
Buile Hill are also developing an incentive package for all prospective trainees. This will continue to provide bespoke training on a programme with a 100% employment success rate which extends support beyond your training year to succession planning for NQTs, RQTs and middle leaders across their partnership, providing access to CPD and leadership training.
In addition, Buile Hill offer a comprehensive school experience programme and are happy to provide information to any interested parties unable to attend the event.
