All Saints Teaching School – School Direct open evening
9 February 2016 at 17:00 to 9 February 2016 at 19:00 in Devon at the Blackpool Primary School
Are you interested in becoming a primary school teacher?
Our highly effective School Direct teacher training gives you the experience of “learning on the job” alongside expert teachers in school. We offer a wide variety of placements in high-quality primary schools and academies from a variety of different contexts across Devon and Torbay.
Working in partnership with the University of St Mark & St John, you will receive qualified teacher status (QTS) and a PGCE and will be considered for a teaching post in one of our schools.
Our School Direct Partnership is a collaboration of two innovative, dynamic and forward-thinking teaching schools.
We develop and support new teachers through high-quality training, delivered by excellent practitioners and the University of St Mark & St John.
You can specialise in early years, key stage 1 or key stage 2, but will be qualified to teach across the age range.
“One of the best things about the course is being immersed in school from day one. This is a brilliant chance to get to know your school, class, class teacher and routines and therefore get a true taste of teaching life. Staff are extremely supportive and tailor your training to your own experience and needs.”
– Gen, School Direct trainee.
