North West Primary and Early Years SCITT Open Event
11 January 2016 at 13:00 to 11 January 2016 at 14:30 in Skelmersdale at the North West Primary & Early Years SCITT
During the Open Event we will; share information about our highly successful school-led teacher training programme, explain our entry requirements and more importantly we will support you to understand our application process, in order to enhance your prospect of being selected for interview.
While our selection process is rigorous, we have found that selecting only the most 'exceptional' applicants results in excellent completion and employment rates. We are proud that 95% of our previous trainees have been awarded QTS and are now successfully employed in schools, across the North West and beyond, enjoying their first teaching post as highly competent and inspirational teachers.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to meet our programme team and join one of our training seminars 'in action' in order to gain an understanding of what you may well be doing this time next year!
Perhaps, the most valuable part of our Open Event is your opportunity to spend time with our current trainees who will explain the benefits they feel of our school led route and provide you with examples of our close-knit, supportive and personalised approach to initial teacher training.
We look forward to meeting you!
