Join our Get Into Teaching event in Manchester. Whether you’re ready to start your career in teaching or just curious, we can answer your questions. Our friendly events are a great place to gather all the advice you need about teaching in primary and secondary schools across England.
There will be lots of people to help and guide you - whether you’re still looking at career options or have decided that training to be a teacher is for you. You can ask questions and get personalised advice just for you.
There will be dedicated zones offering lots of help and support, here’s what you can explore on the day:
- chat with current teachers to get a real sense of what teaching is like. Ask them about their training experience and the support they received.
- meet local training providers from your region. Having all the providers in one place will save you time and provide a great opportunity to gather information and make informed decisions about your training options.
- join presentations that give an overview of teacher training and practical advice for your application. These sessions are informative and inspiring, helping you understand the path to becoming a teacher.
- for personalised guidance, speak with expert advisers about eligibility, the application process, personal statements and what the realities of training are really like.
- meet other attendees, listen to their experiences and hear their questions.
You can drop by at any time. To make the most of the opportunities on offer, we recommend staying for a few hours.
